The “Yalvaç Meets Science” Science Festival, organized under the TÜBİTAK 4007 Science Festivals Support Program and coordinated by the Yalvaç District Directorate of National Education, is taking place at Anlatan Square on 8–10 October 2026. Süleyman Demirel University Atayalvaç Vocational School of Health Services took part in the festival on its first day.

During the visit, stands featuring interactive workshops in various fields of science such as astronomy, robotic coding, biomimicry and archaeometry were visited and the work was examined on site. The activities, which aim to increase students’ curiosity and interest in science, attracted great interest from primary and secondary school students.

On behalf of our School, it was stated that support would be given to all efforts aimed at spreading a culture of science. We congratulate District Director of National Education Mahmut Sert, project coordinator Ayşe Zengin, Prof. Dr. Ömer Kürşad Tüfekci and the entire project team for their efforts in this meaningful event that brings Yalvaç’s historical and cultural heritage together with science.
