Technical Visit by Physiotherapy Students to Gaziler Training and Research Hospital

On 17 April 2026, students of our School’s Physiotherapy Program made a technical visit to Gaziler Training and Research Hospital in Ankara. The students were accompanied by Lecturer Kubilay Güngörer and Lecturer Dr. Hüsamettin Koçak.

During the visit, students toured various units of the hospital and received detailed information about the institution’s general structure, operations and the healthcare services it provides. In particular, the devices used in physiotherapy treatment areas, patient admission processes and treatment methods were examined on site.

Healthcare staff working in the field informed the students about the daily work routine, patient assessment processes and treatment planning. The students had the opportunity to observe the real-world counterparts of the theoretical knowledge they have gained during their studies.

During the technical visit, the students raised their awareness of their profession and had the chance to get to know the clinical environment up close. The visit was considered important for contributing to the students’ professional development.
