Technical Visit to YETEM and SUDUM by Medical Laboratory Students
Students of the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program at Atayalvaç Vocational School of Health Services visited Süleyman Demirel University’s advanced technology research centers within the scope of the Basic Laboratory Applications course.
The technical visit was carried out under the coordination of Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Özgür Kıvılcım Kılınç and Öğr. Gör. Dr. Serkan Özmen. During the visit, students had the opportunity to examine the laboratories at the Innovative Technologies Application and Research Center (YETEM) and the Natural Products Application and Research Center (SUDUM).
Throughout the visit, detailed presentations were given on the high-level analytical instruments available at the centers and the analysis methods performed using these devices. Aimed at contributing to students’ professional competencies after graduation, the visit enabled students to observe the theoretical knowledge acquired in the Basic Laboratory Applications course within a modern laboratory environment and to receive information on current technologies directly from authorized personnel.
