Training on Measurement and Evaluation for Instructors Conducted
An online training program aimed at enhancing the evaluation skills of academicians involved in education within the healthcare field was organized by Süleyman Demirel University Atayalvaç Vocational School of Health Services. The online training titled "Measurement and Evaluation in Medical Education," was held on April 22, 2025, at 21:00 via the Zoom platform.
The training, attended by Associate Professor Giray Kolcu from the Department of Family Medicine at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine, was moderated by Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Zehra Üstün, the director of the vocational school. During the event, key topics such as the importance of measurement and evaluation in health professional education, designing quality exams, objective assessment criteria, and fairly measuring student success were discussed.
All academic staff of Atayalvaç Vocational School of Health Services participated fully, and certificates were awarded to the attendees at the end of the training. We sincerely thank Associate Professor Giray Kolcu for his valuable contributions.
This training program constitutes the initial step in the development activities planned by Atayalvaç Vocational School of Health Services for instructors. Moving forward, the professional development of academic staff will be continuously supported through future training sessions with diverse content.
